About Us

 

NPT Contracting is led by foremen carpenters Matt Parten and Alex Nichols, along with project manager and designer Kevin Tomm. The three first collaborated as the core site team on the delivery of a luxury estate home, where it quickly became clear that their skills and values aligned. Following the successful completion of that project, they decided to continue working together under the NPT banner. Collectively, they bring extensive experience in carpentry and project management across a wide range of commercial and residential construction projects.

NPT Contracting serves as a general contractor on projects of all scales, including custom home builds, interior renovations, and exterior structures. We collaborate with a trusted network of skilled subcontractors to deliver exceptional results marked by quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Design-Build

 

We provide full in-house design and drafting services to help bring your vision to life. From early concepts to navigating the municipal permitting process, our team is here to make every step seamless. With careful planning, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of local regulations, we ensure each project is both beautifully designed and built to last.

With over 10 years of experience in custom home building, including timber frame and glulam construction, Matt brings craftsmanship and precision to every project. An avid golfer and nature enthusiast, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors.

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Alex brings deep expertise in building envelope systems and remediation projects. Outside of work, he’s a passionate musician, climber, and mountain biker.

Kevin Tomm

Kevin Tomm

With a Master of Architecture degree and over 15 years of experience in carpentry, project management, and architectural design, Kevin brings both creativity and technical expertise to every project. A jazz piano enthusiast with a great sense of humor, he insists he’s not a nerd.
